Mounted next to a display case of Mickey Mouse-inspired merchandise from the 1930s, this playful interactive provides tours, information and supplemental images of many of the artifacts in the collection.

Evidence of Walt Disney’s early pioneering achievement marketing character and entertainment merchandise is displayed in all its splendor in the variety of Mickey Mouse artifacts in this collection. Through this period-inspired interface visitors can explore and learn about the variety and evolution of Mickey merchandise from the very first item licensed in 1931. A tour of “Hi-Lights from the Collection” provides a quick overview of the items, and a browse mode lets visitors quickly discover items visually. There are supplemental images and information for the merchandise, and a way to filter items by year or by type.
