Details of the artful ornamentation adorning Chicago’s landmark Marquette Building come into focus in an interactive installation in the lobby.

Two interactive stations introduce the rich artwork that adorns the Marquette Building—including many bronze busts, exterior reliefs, and exquisite glass mosaics designed by the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company. Visitors can toggle between the exterior, where they pan up and down a blueprint of the building to select features, or the interior, where they can swivel around a simplified 3-D reconstruction to select the remarkable mosaic murals and bronze reliefs that ring the interior lobby. The persons and scenes depicted in the artwork are explained as are the techniques and effects of the artistry and craftsmanship.
