Original broadcasts of great Royals plays provide the foundation for visitors to learn how sports announcers call the game, and then try making their own calls of these great moments in Royals baseball history.
Visitors step into a broadcasting booth overlooking Kauffman Stadium’s left field and imagine they are a sports journalist calling plays at the game. Visitors select great Royals plays to review, watch key moments in the game leading up to the play, and get insight and tips on broadcasting from well-known Royals announcers. When ready, visitors hit record and make their own call of their chosen play, then review the play with their audio recording. They can then send an email to themselves, family members, or friends with the audio of their call and an image of key moments in the play.
