The tours, events, show times, and ticketing options at the Gettysburg National Military Park are advertised in these synchronized displays above the museum’s ticketing counters.
Four screens work in concert to help arriving visitors plan their time in the museum and on the battlefield. The ticket prices, tour opportunities, and show times for the feature film and Cyclorama are presented through colorful animated sequences that can be easily edited and updated through browser-based content management tools.

HOW, Interactive Design Awards, Merit, Kiosks, 2009“New Museum Guides Visitors Through Gettysburg,” Associated Press, Martha Raffaele, April 23, 2008Interactive touches—both high- and low-tech—are scattered throughout the museum...Visitors can touch a replica of slave shackles and find out for themselves how heavily a soldier’s backpack weighed him down. Using touch-screen computers, they can learn how to recognize bugle calls, decode signal corps flag messages, and locate battlefield monuments.
